Stephen Lockhart, M.D., Ph.D., Receives Distinguished Alumni Award
Washington University in St. Louis awarded Stephen Lockhart, M.D., Ph.D., the 2015 Distinguished Alumni Award. Washington University recognized Dr. Lockhart for his professional accomplishments in the field of medicine and his national leadership in promoting environmental literacy.
The Distinguished Alumni Award honors college of arts and sciences graduates who embody the principles of a liberal arts education.
For more than a decade, Dr. Lockhart has been a valued leader at Sutter Health—first serving as chief administrative officer at the St. Luke’s campus of Sutter Health’s California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Since then, he held several executive positions and Sutter Health recently named him chief medical officer in an announcement last fall about the reorganization of its system structure.
